Many homeowners on our street, including myself, have called the police numerous times, asking for them to
handle the situation permanently. The tenants have been told politely to please move their vehicles and refuse to
do so. They have been told to leave by the police, and yet they return a short while later. We as a neighborhood,
are at a loss of what to do next.
As model and long-time taxpaying citizens of Little Canada, I and our neighborhood as a whole appeal to you to
take action on these circumstances, and put up signs that disallow parking on our street except for residents
only, and to enforce them with the power and authority of the police department if necessary.
This situation is getting out of hand and is ridiculous, because it creates an eyesore, while the
violators have repeatedly been asked to move their vehicles both through the PD and calling the
apartment management office, various homeowner's utilities and services have been blocked, and
residents have have asked repeatedly for the situation to be fixed.
More of my neighbors will be contacting you via email or by phone to lodge their own complaints as well. I
sincerely hope that the proper action will be taken by the city.
Sincerely,
Michael
2
