MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 18, 2014 <br />ARCHITEC- <br />TURAL REVIEW <br />& PUD PERMIT - <br />27 -47 <br />LITTLE <br />CANADA <br />ROAD - <br />VOODOO LIVE <br />neighbor not only in controlling dust and keeping the street clean, but also <br />in helping out area businesses. Boss felt there was a lot of benefit having <br />this business in the City. <br />Roger Stanke, 209 Ryan Drive, reported that he speaks for the property <br />owners in Ryan Industrial Park who support the extension of the IUP. He <br />encouraged the City to grant a ten year extension. <br />There was no one else present wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by McGraw, seconded by Keis, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-8-156 — APPROVING A FIVE YEAR <br />EXTENSION OF INTERIUM USE PERMIT UNDER THE TERMS <br />OF THE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE PROCESSING <br />AND STOCKPILING OF GRAVEL IN THE GENERAL INDUSTRIAL <br />(1-2) DISTRICT AT 3137 COUNTRY DRIVE, FRADOR, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO <br />EXECUTE THE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF <br />THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). <br />Abstains (1) Boss. Resolution declared adopted. <br />Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider the request for <br />Architectural Review and a PUD Permit for a restaurant -bar -live music <br />venue at 27-47 Little Canada Road, Voodoo Live. The Planning <br />Commission recommended denial of the request based on the findings <br />outlined in the City Planner's report dated August 7, 2014. <br />The City Planner reported that Chris Gnctz has made application for <br />Architectural Review and a PUD Permit for a restaurant -bar -live music <br />venue at 27-47 Little Canada Road, Voodoo Live. The site is presently <br />occupied by two retail shopping center buildings, and Voodoo Live is <br />proposed to occupy the most easterly building. These buildings are <br />currently occupied by a small cafe and service and retail businesses. The <br />Planner noted that the proposal includes a second story addition "open to <br />below" over approximately half of the building. This building <br />modification is intended to mimic the character of a French New Orleans <br />12 <br />
