MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 18, 2014 <br />Montour asked about soffit lighting. Giordana stated that there would be <br />lighting under the canopies at the main entrance on the south side of the <br />building and the employee entrance on the west side of the building. <br />Davis indicated that they have not yet found a tenant, but suggested that it <br />will be one or two medical or dental tenants. Davis then listed some of the <br />other medical developments that they have done in the Twin Cities area. <br />Montour noted the Planner's recommendation for additional trees along <br />Rice Street and asked if these would interfere with monument sign <br />visibility. Davis replied that the trees would be sited accordingly so as not <br />to block sign visibility. The City Planner indicated that the <br />recommendation for additional trees along Rice Street reflects the <br />Architectural Guidelines for tree -lined streets. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Montour, seconded by McGraw, the public review was <br />closed. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-8-154 —APPROVING THE <br />ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW FOR MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING <br />AT 2250 RICE STREET AS PROPOSED BY DAVIS GROUP <br />SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS <br />OF THE CITY PLANNER AS OUTLINED IN HIS AUGUST 7, 2014 <br />REPORT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />AMENDMEND Blesener opened the Public Hearing on the application of Poolside at <br />TO PUD -C 121 East County Road C for an Amendment 10 PUD -C District and PUD <br />DISTRICT & Permit for outdoor storage and outdoor display area. The City Planner <br />PUD PERMIT- recommended approval subject to the conditions outlined in his August 5, <br />121 EAST 2014 report and the Planning Commission recommended approval subject <br />COUNTY to those same conditions with some modifications. The Commission <br />ROAD C- recommended a 2 -year PUD Permit, the outdoor storage area to be <br />POOLSIDE surfaced with Class V materials, and screening landscaping to be placed <br />on the inside of the fence. <br />4 <br />15 <br />
