MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 24, 2014 <br />LITIGATION <br />Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-9-195 — TEMPORARILY ADJOURNING <br />THE REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AND CONVENING INTO <br />CLOSED SESSION TO REVIEW THE STATUS OF PENDING <br />LITATION WITH ST. PAUL REGIONAL WATER SERVICES AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />At this point in the meeting, 8:42 p.m., the Council went into closed <br />session. <br />Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-9-196 — ADJOURNING THE CLOSED <br />SESSION AND RECONVENING THE REGULAR COUNCIL <br />MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The regular Council meeting was reconvened at 9:13 p.m. <br />The City Attorney reported that the Council discussed the SPRWS <br />pending litigation in closed session. The Attorney reported that he has <br />been directed by the Council to make a counter -proposal to SPRWS for <br />the negotiation of a settlement of the litigation. <br />ADJOURN There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:14 p.m. <br />William `Blesener, Mayor <br />Attest: 2 /e <br />Joel • anson, City Administrator <br />12 <br />
