MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 24, 2014 <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-9-181— REMOVING THE 2014 FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT CONTRACT FROM THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-9-182 —APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS; <br />*APPROVINGA TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSE FOR ST. <br />JOHN'S SCHOOL SILENT AUCTION TO BE HELD OCTOBER 4, <br />2014; <br />*AUTHORIZING NUISANCE ABATEMENT FOR 3006 RICE <br />STREET AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CODE ENFORCEMENT <br />OFFICER; <br />*APPROVING FINAL PAY REQUEST FOR WOLKERSTOFER FOR <br />PIONEER PARK PAVERS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY <br />ENGINEER; <br />*APPROVING FINAL PAY REQUEST FOR C W. HOULE FOR <br />WATER TOWER VALVE REPLACEMENT; <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />EXTEND The City Administrator noted that in October of 2013 the Council granted <br />TEMPORARY Dirk Bordsen a temporary permit for the property located at 2962 Rice <br />PERMIT- Street allowing the temporary occupancy of the property by Pre -Wire <br />2962 RICE Specialists for employee parking. The temporary permit also included the <br />STREET — Marilyn Montreau property immediately south (2968 Rice Street). The <br />BORDSEN Administrator pointed out that the temporary approval was for a period of <br />one year, and that time period is close to expiring. The Administrator also <br />2 <br />
