Hanson <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor Blesener and Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />DATE: October 16, 2014 <br />RE: Advertise Vacancies <br />Parks & Recreation Commission <br />Planning Commission <br />The following terms of office expire on December 31, 2014 for the Parks & Recreation <br />Commission and the Planning Commission. Staff is requesting authorization to advertise these <br />vacancies, each of which will be for three-year terms. It should be noted that Commissioner <br />Barraclough is up against term limits (maximum of 3 three-year terms served consecutively) and <br />will be unable to apply for reappointment. <br />Dependent on the outcome of the City Council election on November 4th there could be <br />additional Commission vacancies, and staff is requesting authorization to advertise any of these <br />vacancies that might occur. <br />Appointments to the respective Commissions would occur at the December 15, 2014 Council <br />meeting. <br />Parks & Recreation Commission <br />Patti Sullivan (served 2 three-year terms) <br />Dave Miller (served a partial term of one year) <br />Planning Commission <br />Scott Barraclough <br />font Fischer <br />.Jennifer Maleitzke <br />(served 23 years, 7 three-year terms and a partial term) <br />(served 2 three-year terms) <br />(served 1 three-year term) <br />
