Manson <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor 13lesener and Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />DATE: October 17, 2014 <br />RE: Application for Exempt Gambling Permit to Conduct a Raffle <br />Rebuilding Together Twin Cities <br />Raffle Date: December 6, 2014 <br />Raffle Location: Joe's Sporting Goods <br />Rebuilding Together Twin Cities, a non-profit organization that provides assistance to low <br />income homeowners, has made application for an Exempt Gambling Permit to conduct a raffle <br />for an ice house to raise funds to support their mission. This raffle will be conducted at Joe's <br />Sporting Goods in Little Canada; therefore, the non-profit has approached the City for approval <br />of permit. <br />Application materials are in order and a satisfactory Sheriff's Department background check has <br />been received. Staff would recommend approval of the Exempt Gambling Permit as requested. <br />1 <br />
