MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 22, 2007 <br />IMPROVEMENTS to eliminate muddy conditions and direct water away from the courts. <br />Two quotes were received for this work, with the low quote submitted by <br />Arcade Concrete in the amount of $2,850. <br />The City Administrator noted that while this work has not been budgeted <br />for, but pointed out that it is a good long term solution to a problem at the <br />courts. The City has received several complaints about the problem. He <br />also noted that there are two groups that continuously use the bocce ball <br />courts, and they are also heavily used as part of the Spooner Park shelter <br />rentals. The Administrator recommended that the funds for this work <br />come from the General Capital Improvement Fund. <br />Ms. Allan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2007-8-210-AWARDING THE QUOTE OF <br />ARCADE CONCRETE IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,850 FOR <br />INSTALLATION OF CONCRETE BENCH PADS AT THE SPOONER <br />PARK BOCCE BALL COURTS WITH FUNDING TO COME FROM <br />THE GENERAL CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
