MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />DECEMBER 11, 2014 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 11 th day of <br />December, 2014 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: <br />Mr. Tom Fischer <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Steve Ledin <br />Ms. Jennifer Maleitzke <br />Ms. Heidi Murphy <br />Mr. Nick Schwalbach <br />ABSENT: Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mr. Kevin Helander, Cable TV <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />MINUTES The August 14, 2014 Planning Commission meeting minutes were <br />approved as submitted. <br />REZONING- The City Planner reported that Molly Behymer, Creative Catering, has <br />477 LITTLE applied for the rezoning of the former Norm's Tire property to <br />CANADA accommodate the reuse of the building as a catering business location. <br />ROAD — The current zoning designation on the property is B-2, Auto -Oriented <br />MOLLY Business, which is limited in scope to such uses as vehicle sales and <br />BEHYMER vehicle repairs. The request is to rezone the property to B-3, General <br />Business District, which would allow the proposed use as a permitted use. <br />The Planner indicated that when the City's Comprehensive Plan was <br />updated a few years ago, the City considered potential changes to the <br />Little Canada corridor that would include small service commercial <br />businesses. The proposed catering business would fit that category. <br />The Planner described the Creative Catering business indicating that the <br />business would include food preparation and delivery from this site. <br />
