MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 10, 2007 <br />month. He noted that he received property/right-of--way transfer <br />documents from McDonald's, however, there are a couple of issues to be <br />resolved in those transfer documents. The Adminishator noted that the <br />City would not close on Che Oasis properCy until these transfer issues are <br />resolved. Staff would like to close by March 8°i at the latest or 10 days <br />following McDonald's executing the transfer documents. Oasis has not <br />agreed Co this. <br />Keis asked about responsibility for any clean up of the Oasis site. The <br />City Administrator reported that Oasis is responsible for any clean-up that <br />might be necessary as well as obtaining a closure letter from the PGA. <br />There was a leak on the site some time ago, and the PCA did issue a <br />closure letter for that leak. Again, the Administrator indicated that Oasis <br />will be responsible for any clean-up that might be needed on the site. <br />Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007-1-8 -APPROVING THE OASIS <br />PURCHASE AGREEMENT SUBJECT TO A PURCHASE PRICE OF <br />$815,000, ANYREVISIONS THAT MIGHT BE NECESSARY <br />RELATIVE TO CLOSING DATES, AND SUBJECT TO REVIEW <br />AND APPROVAL BY THE CITYATTORNEY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />COUNCIL Blesener reported that seven individuals have applied for appointment to <br />VACANCY the vacant City Council seat. Those applicants are as follows: <br />R. Elvy Day <br />Tom Duray <br />James Fleischhacker <br />Michael McGraw <br />Charles Pechmann <br />Bob Pedersen <br />Eric Weisman <br />Blesener indicated that the Council has rated each applicant, and the City <br />Administrator has compiled a summary of those ratings. Based on the <br />rankings, Bob Pedersen has the most points, Tom Duray and Mike <br />McGraw were tied at second and third highest points, and Charles <br />Pechmann was fourth. <br />
