It contains the provisions for which we will analyze the noise walls with
this project. I know there was interest in the point system for benefiting receptors which is detailed in the policy. If you
have any specific questions I can put you into contact with Peter Wasko whom manages the noisewall program for
MnDOT.
Flyover Bridge/Noisewall — I believe you are speaking about the portion near Twin Lakes. If not please correct me. This
portion was studied in for the Unweave and was deemed not cost effective due to the Right of Way needed to
construct. This will be revaluated with the 1694 corridors of commerce project as it will most likely be in that protects
limits.
Funding on Little Canada Rd Bridge - Based on the resolution and commitments Wayne made I will need to look into
this further.
Noisewall Samples - Samples of the Rinoshield coating system are actually in the field along Canterbury Rd near the
apartment complex just west of 35E. They are painted squares that indicate the test/sample sections. Here Is their
website with visual samples. http://rhinoshield.net/ This may not ultimately be the product but is one we are evaluating
per the American General Contractors (AGC) request.
Replace Wall at 36/Canterbury Rd —1 believe you are referring to the wall on the west side of 35E in the north west
corner of the TH 36/35E interchange. I have also attached a map showing the walls MnDOT plans to repaint as part of
the unweave. (This one is labeled wall A.) Since we are planning to repaint this wall I hope I just miss understood our
conversation and a replacement isn't was intended. Let me know what you may have meant on this issue so I can better
understand and respond.
Staining on Wali/Centerville Rd — Our discussion pertained to staining of the wall and the past resolution also
mentioned staining. When I look at the Centerville road wall I do not see what you may be referring to. I have attached
a googie street view pic of the wall I believe we discussed. If this isn't the wall or he issue isn't represented let me
know.
14
