Governance-Council/Team Effectiveness 3 hour session <br />An interactive session for the City Council, City Manager and any others included in the <br />leadership team will be conducted to familiarize the group with best practices in governance <br />and Council -staff team effectiveness. Prior to the session, participants will complete a <br />questionnaire, the results of which will be used to identify issues relevant to Little Canada's <br />governance process. Other topics covered will include: roles and responsibilities, leadership <br />and teamwork, handling conflict, accountability and decision-making. <br />a. Develop and administer questionnaire <br />b. Summarize questionnaire results <br />c. Prepare background materials <br />d. Facilitate session <br />Proposed Fee <br />The total fee for the proposed process is $4,950.00, which includes all costs. <br />The fee for the Optional Staff Strategy Session with the staff is $2,000.00. <br />The fee for the Optional Governance Session is $2500.00. <br />The timeframes and number of sessions proposed are an estimate •based upon experience <br />and a general understanding of the current situation. Should additional meetings be <br />necessary due to a change in project scope, unforeseen circumstances or the need for <br />additional effort, the cost would increase.
