Stat. § 356A.06, subd. <br />4, <br />• The name of each associated business (and the nature of that <br />association). <br />• A listing of all real property interests in the state (excluding <br />homestead). <br />• Any interests connected to pari-mutuel horse racing in the U.S. or <br />Canada. <br />• A listing of the principal business or professional activity category of <br />each business where the individual receives more than $50 in any <br />month as an employee, but only if the individual has a 25% or more <br />ownership interest in the business. <br />• A listing of each principal business or professional activity category <br />where the individual has received more than $2,500 in compensation in <br />the past 12 months as an independent contractor. (Note: For a person <br />who is a public official before May 22, 2014, the last two bullet points <br />must be provided in supplementary statements due April 15, 2015.) <br />Local officials must file supplementary statements by April 15 of each <br />year, as well as a final statement when leaving office. <br />d. Access <br />The local official must file the statement with the city council. If an <br />official position is both a public official and a local official of a <br />metropolitan governmental unit, the official must also file the statement <br />with the Board. Statements of economic interest are classified as public <br />data. <br />e. Pension plan trustees <br />Each member of the governing board of a public pension plan must file a <br />statement of economic interest. This applies to the trustees of a local relief <br />association pension plan and includes ex -officio members, such as the <br />mayor and city clerk. The statement must include: <br />• The person's principal occupation and place of business. <br />• Whether or not the person has an ownership of or interest of ten <br />percent or greater in an investment security brokerage business, a real <br />estate sales business, an insurance agency, a bank, a savings and loan, <br />or another financial institution. <br />• Any relationships or financial arrangements that could give rise to a <br />conflict of interest. <br />The statement must be filed annually with the plan's chief administrative <br />officer and be available for public inspection during regular office hours. <br />The statement must also be filed with the Board by January 15 of each <br />year. <br />League of Minnesota Cities Information Memo: 10/17/2014 <br />Oficial Conflict of Interest Page 33 <br />
