MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MARCH 4, 2015 <br />Davison asked if the curb cuts for this property will be affected when Rice <br />Street is upgraded. Duray replied that the Rice Street curb cut will stay <br />where it is. The Demont Street curb cut will be moved further east as a 60 <br />foot setback from the intersection will be required. It was noted that the <br />Rice Street improvement will likely not take place for a year or more. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Duray indicated that he will abstain from voting on this matter given his <br />ownership in the property. <br />Murphy recommended approval of the Amendment to the Zoning Code to <br />provide for pet supply sales as a permitted use and pet sales as a <br />conditional use in the General Business (B-3) District and the <br />Comprehensive Business (B-4) District as outlined in the City Planner's <br />February 27, 2015 report. <br />Motion seconded by Schwalbach. <br />Motion carried 5 — 0. Duray abstained. <br />Murphy recommended approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow a <br />pet sales business at 2526 Rice Street, Mark and Nicole Wiseman, subject <br />to compliance with the conditions of the amended General Business (B-3) <br />District as outlined in the City Planner's February 27, 2015 report. <br />Motion seconded by Schwalbach. <br />Motion carried 5 — 0.
