MINUTES <br />LCRA <br />DONATION <br />FOR <br />WARMING <br />HOUSE <br />PROJECT <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />FEBRUARY 25, 2015 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 25th day of <br />February, 2015 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor John Keis called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Tom Fischer <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Mr. Christian Torkelson <br />ABSENT: Council Member Mr. Mike McGraw <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />City Administrator <br />City Engineer <br />City Planner <br />City Clerk <br />Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />Mr. Lee Elfering <br />Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-2-36 —APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br />THE FEBRUARY 11, 2015 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS <br />SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />Little Canada Recreation Association (LCRA) President Jon Joriman <br />appeared before the Council and presented the City with a check in the <br />amount off $20,000 as a donation toward the cost of the new warming <br />house. Joriman provided the Council with an update on the history of <br />LCRA which was founded in 1957 for the sole purpose of promoting <br />youth recreation in Little Canada. Joriman indicated that through LCRA's <br />fund-raising efforts they have assisted in multiple park projects in the City, <br />buys down 25% of the City's recreation fees, and provides scholarships <br />
