MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
FEBRUARY 25, 2015
outlet for the Public Works Garage as part of the road improvement. The
Administrator indicated that he will be recommending that the City sell
bonds for this project in the range of $2.8 to $3 million. Those bonds
would be paid off within 2 years.
Montour asked if there were any easement issues related to this project.
The Administrator stated that no easement needs exist if we stay within
the existing right-of-way. If we try to keep the paved portion of the
roadway in the current alignment, then right-of-way would be needed for
the addition of sidewalk given the paved road sits on the easterly portion
of the right-of-way. The Administrator indicated that given the cost of
acquiring additional right-of-way, the recommendation is that the sidewalk
be constructed within the existing road easement. He also noted that
Ramsey County and the City Engineer will work together on the project
design.
ADJOURN There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
Attes
Joh T.
