JAMES STEELE CONSTRUCTION/
Date: March 31, 2015
To: Joel Hanson, City Administrator
From: Troy Corbett, Project Manager
RE: New Maintenance Building
We are requesting approval for additional costs associated with JSC reimbursable expenses. The
project experienced schedule extensions due to material delivery delays and an early cold
weather snap that did not ease. The precast concrete wall panels and steel bar joists were
delivered 4 weeks late due to the fabricators inability to move the project up on the production
schedule. The exterior curb, OH door aprons and asphalt was scheduled for early November,
however due to unseasonably cold weather which did not subside, the work had to wait until
spring. Because of these delays, occupancy of the building needs to be pushed back 6 weeks,
from March 30 to May 18, 2015, weather depending. Below are the fee's associated with this
schedule extension.
6 weeks supervision @ $3,400
6 weeks General Conditions @ $205
4 weeks fork lift rental @ $510
Total additional reimbursable expense
Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.
1410 Sylvan Street
Saint Paul, Minnesota 55117
(651) 488-6755
Fax: (651) 488-4787
j sc@js teeleconstru etio n.co m
ww.jamessteeleconstruction.com
Add $20,400
Add $ 1,230
Add $ 2,040
Add S23,670
Equ.aI Opportunity Employer
