Hanson <br />Staff researched the unimproved Rose Lane and potential options for the future. Below is <br />a summary of the research. <br />Existing Driveway <br />The existing driveway for 298 Rose Lane sits on the southern portion of the Rose Lane <br />right-of-way. The attached picture and aerial views show how it sits in relation to the <br />utilities. The width of the driveway varies but is generally in the 12-16 foot range. <br />Utilities <br />There is a City -maintained sewer main that runs from Savage Lane east and slightly south <br />along the Rose Lane right-of-way to a manhole just north and east of the 298 Rose Lane <br />property. A photo from ground level has been included to show how the main sits in <br />relation to this area. The orange cone marks the location of the eastern manhole. This <br />line is cleaned at least once every three years and staff needs access to both manholes and <br />the main between them. The sewer services for both 308 Savage Lane and 298 Rose <br />Lane run to the stretch of sewer main in the Rose Lane right-of-way. <br />The water service for 298 Rose Lane is located between the manhole and the fire hydrant <br />on the Savage Lane right-of-way. It then runs straight south before bending and heading <br />east down the driveway and eventually to the home. The water service is south of the <br />sewer main. There is no water main or storm sewer on the unimproved Rose Lane. <br />
