MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 22, 2015 <br />FIRE RELIEF <br />BENEFIT <br />INCREASE <br />RESCHEDULE <br />MAY 13, 2015 <br />REGULAR <br />COUNCIL <br />MEETING <br />CLOSED <br />SESSION - <br />PURCHASE <br />OF 56 <br />LITTLE <br />CANADA <br />The City Administrator reported that the Little Canada Fire Relief <br />Association is requesting a benefit increase for 2015 of $35 per year of <br />service from $3,265 to $3,300. He reviewed the Fire Relief <br />Funding/Benefit Increase Parameters that were adopted by the City that <br />covers benefit increase from 2015 through 2019. The Administrator noted <br />that the increase being requested meets the parameters, which require a <br />110% funding level. Based on the funding parameters being met, the <br />Administrator recommended approval of the benefit increase. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-4-77 — APPROVING A LITTLE CANADA <br />FIRE RELIEF BENEFIT INCREASE OF $35 PER YEAR BRING <br />THE BENEFIT LEVEL TO $3,300 PER YEAR OF SERVICE GIVEN <br />THAT THE INCREASE REQUESTED MEETS THE FIRE RELIEF <br />FUNDING/BENEFIT INCREASE PARAMETERS AS ADOPTED BY <br />THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator requested that the Council reschedule its May 13th <br />regular meeting to either May 11 th or May 12thHe noted that the City's <br />Manager's conference begins on May 13th <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-4-78 — RESCHEDULING THE MAY 13, <br />2015 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING TO MONDAY, MAY 11, 2015 <br />WITH THE MEETING TO COMMENCE AT 7:30 P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Attorney requested that the Council go into closed session as <br />authorized by State Law to discuss the purchase agreement for the <br />City's purchase of the property located at 56 Little Canada Road East. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />20 <br />
