Jeff Hehneke <br />Mr. Chuck Pechmann <br />Mr. Louie Rustad <br />Ms. Jessica Jagoe <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />OUTDOOR The purpose of tonight's workshop meeting is to review the City <br />STORAGE Planner's recommendations for restructuring the City's outdoor storage <br />regulations in the hrdustrial Park (I-1) Zoning District. It was noted that <br />the City currently has a moratorium on new Conditional Use Permits for <br />outdoor storage in that zoning district. The second topic for tonight's <br />workshop is to review the City's current concept review procedures to <br />determine what, if any, changes would improve the process. <br />The City Planner began by reviewing his July 19, 2007 report on outdoor <br />storage. The Planner noted that one of the changes he is proposing is to <br />increase the allowable accessory building size from 30% of the principal <br />building to 60%. This change is intended to make it easier to add building <br />space, rather than resorting to outdoor storage area. The Planner also <br />noted that fall the City amended the building materials standards of the I-1 <br />District to match the standards in the I-P District. The Planner suggested <br />that that the Council may want to consider relaxing the building materials <br />standards for accessory buildings in order to make it more economical for <br />
