The railroad was saving a place for the Little
Canada and Shoreview improvements, and hopefully this project has not
slipped down the list. A key concern is the necessary lead time to order
and obtain the signal equipment.
The Administrator reported that the Mayor, Council Member Torkelson,
and he are registered to attend the League of Minnesota Cities Annual
Conference which begins on Wednesday, June 24th. The Administrator
requested that the June 24th Council Meeting be rescheduled for Monday,
June 22nd. The Administrator also recommended that prior to that meeting
a special meeting be scheduled to hold the Public Works Facility open
house. The open house would begin at 5:30 p.m. with a dedication
ceremony at 6:00 p.m. The Administrator reported that Council Member
McGraw had requested the open house be scheduled for another date,
however, a member of the Blesener Family has already booked an airline
ticket so that she can attend the ceremony on Monday, June 22nd.
Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2015-5-90 — RESCHEDULING THE JUNE 24TH
REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING TO MONDAY, JUNE 22ND, AT 7:30
P.M.
