MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MAY 11, 2015 ACCEPT STEINER RESIGNATION & AUTHORIZE ADVERTISE- MENT PARKS & REC COMMISSION VACANCY TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSE FOR LCRA GOLF TOURNAMENT WAIVER 10% FEE FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2015-5-92 — AMENDING THE CITY'S SANITARY SEWER ORDINANCE AS RECOMMENDED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Keis noted that Kevin Steinert, long-time resident and active member of the Parks & Recreation Commission and Little Canada Recreation Association is moving from the City and has submitted his resignation from the Commission. Keis thanked Steinert for all the work he has done for the City and indicated that he will be missed. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2015-5-93 — ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF KEVIN STEINERT FROM THE PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION WITH REGRETS AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO ADVERTISE THIS VACANCY OF THE COMMISSION The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2015-5-94 — APPROVING A TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE LITTLE CANADA RECREATION ASSOCIATION GOLF TOURNAMENT TO BE HELD FRIDAY, MAY 29, 2015 PENDING RECEIPT OF SATISFACTORY CERTIFICATE OF LIQUOR LIABILITY INSURANCE The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. The City Administrator reported that the Little Canada Fire Department conducted a fundraiser raffle on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Hoggsbreath for the benefit of an individual suffering from kidney disease.
