MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 11, 2015 <br />He noted, however, that he wanted to state his observations which confirm <br />most of what the Fleur Royale residents have stated. <br />Kim Cossack stated that she wanted to clarify that she was talking about <br />bean bags when she reported that she was always present since the request <br />was to add bean bags to the CUP. She was not talking about horseshoes. <br />The City Attorney recommended that if the Council decides that a review <br />of the CUP is needed, that the Council set that review for a specific date. <br />The City Attorney also indicated that if there are any violations of the <br />CUP, the Council has the authority to bring Gordies in for a review. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-5-82 — APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW OUTDOOR <br />RECREATION CONSISTING OF BEAN BAGS, VOLLEYBALL, <br />HORSESHOES, BODY BALL, BOCCE BALL, BOOT HOCKEY, AND <br />BROOM BALL ON MONDAY'S THROUGH FRIDAY'S UNTIL 10 <br />P.M. AS WELL AS SIX WEEKEND TOURNAMENTS PER YEAR <br />SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />*ALLOWING THE USE OF BLACK POLY FENCING FOR <br />THE CORRIDOR AREA FROM GORDIES BACK DOOR TO <br />THE OUTDOOR RECREATION AREA; <br />*REQUIRING THE PLANTING OF SIX ADDITIONAL <br />SPRUCE TREES ADJACENT TO THE EXISTING SPRUCE <br />FOR ADDED SCREENING; <br />*REQUIRING THAT THE OUTDOOR RECREATION AREA <br />BE VACATED BY 10 P.M.; <br />*REQUIRING STAFF IN THE OUTDOOR RECREATION <br />AREA DURING OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES; <br />*REQUIRING AN ANNUAL REVIEW OF THE CUP PERMIT <br />AT THE COUNCIL'S FIRST MEETING IN SEPTEMBER OF <br />EACH YEAR; <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />REQUEST David Nelson, Hookah Hideout, appeared before the Council requesting <br />TO AMEND an amendment to the Tobacco Ordinance to add a third Tobacco Store <br />TOBACCO License so that he could open a cigar lounge in the City. Nelson stated <br />ORDINANCE- that if the Council would not add the third license, then he would request <br />5 <br />
