Resolution declared adopted.
CUP FOR The City Administrator reported that Roy French at 2988 Edgerton Street
GARAGE - is requesting the reconsideration of the Conditional Use Permit for garage
2988 space given that he has modified his plan. The new plan calls for the
EDGERTON retention of most of the attached garage space, the remodel of a portion of
STREET - that space into living area, and the conshuction of a smaller detached
120Y FRENCH garage at the rear of the property. Total garage space would be 1,488 after
all renovations are completed. This revised plan eliminates the need for a
driveway wrapping around the house.
Roy French reported that after discussing his garage plan with some real
estate agents, he was advised that it would be preferable to retain his
existing attached garage as well as eliminate the long driveway he had
proposed. Therefore, he has revised his plan as described by the City
Administrator.
Keis asked how French would access the back garage being that the
driveway access is being eliminated. French replied that he would only
have need to drive vehicles in and out of the garage a couple of times each
year. He could do that by driving around the north side of his house as he
currently does when he has to drive vehicles into his back yard.
