MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEMBER 26, 2007 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 26th day of <br />September, 2007 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Ms. Barb Allan <br />Council Member Mr. John Keis <br />Council Member Mr. Mike McGraw <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />City Planner <br />Code Enf. Officer <br />Planning Comm. <br />Planning Comm. <br />Planning Comm. <br />City Clerk <br />Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Ms. Jessica Jagoe <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Chuck Pechmann <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />OUTDOOR The purpose of this evening's continued workshop is to review proposed <br />STORAGE changes to the I-1 Zoning District, primarily dealing with outdoor storage <br />issues. The other area to be reviewed relates to the procedures utilized for <br />concept reviews. <br />The City Planner began a detailed review of his report dated September <br />20, 2007 highlighting proposed changes to the I-1 Zoning District. He <br />noted the proposed change increasing the amount of accessory building <br />area from 30% of the gross floor space of the principal building to 60%. <br />He also noted a limitation that one accessory building would be allowed <br />on a property. <br />The Planner noted the deletion of the section that allowed company trucks <br />and trailers to be limited to 10% of the rear yard as a permitted use. The <br />deletion of this section would cause company trucks and trailers to either <br />be stored inside or part of the Interim Use Permit for outdoor storage. The <br />Council discussed this potential deletion, and it was their consensus to <br />continue to allow company trucks to be parked as a permitted use in not <br />
