MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
SEPTEMBER 26, 2007
The City Administrator noted that the problem with extending the
moratorium is that there are a number of property owners in Ryan
Industrial Park that need to amend their CUP's.
The City Planner reviewed the history of the rezoning of certain properties
along Country Drive to PUD, and noted that the I-1 standards are
considered in any use actions on these properties. PUD Permits are
required for these properties, and, again the I-1 standards are the basic
considerations for these properties. Starke wanted assurance that these
properties are treated in the same manner as other Ryan Industrial Park
properties. Starke stated that Ryan Industrial Park property owners do not
want to be legislated out of business, and would like to work with the City
on the new standards that are being developed.
Blesener suggested that City staff meet with the Ryan Industrial Park
property owners in their initial meeting to explain the proposed standards.
Council agreed to postpone any action on the proposed changes to the I-1
District to given Ryan Industrial Park property owners an opportunity to
review these changes and subsequently meet with the Council to discuss
them.
The Council also suggested that at the Regular Council Meeting a
workshop be scheduled for October 24, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. to review
proposed Zoning Code Amendments as well as the Concept Review
Process.
There being no further business, the workshop meeting was adjourned at
7:20 p.m.
/ ,r ~~ ~,c~sCaYi'c
~i i~iam Bles~ , .. ayor
Attest: !
Joel arson, City Administrator
6
