MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
DECEMBER 19, 2007
opportunities to broaden his professional and personal development.
Blesener indicated that individual Council Members may want to take
advantage of these opportunities as well.
The Council each gave the City Administrator an overall rating of "E"
commenting on his knowledge, job performance, and the respect that he
has from citizens, his peers, and other governmental agencies.
McGraw suggested that the upward appraisal form be revised for next year
breaking out some of the components in each category. He offered to help
with the revision of this form.
The Administrator thanked the Mayor and Council for their comments and
confidence. The Administrator suggested a list of his accomplishments
during 2007, and noted that these were attained by the City Council and
staff as a whole. He felt the City had a very good staff, who get the job
done and who care about the community. The Administrator noted that
Little Canada is staffed lighter than most of its counterparts.
The Council then reviewed the Administrator's compensation for 2008
informing him that his salary would increase by 4%. Additionally, in
recognition for 2007 the Administrator will receive $5,000 an additional
compensation.
There being no further business, the workshop meeting was adjourned at
7:20 p.m.
~iIli~'~~lese er, Mayor ^
Attest: / ~
Joel H son, City Administrator
