MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 14, 2007 <br />SECOND Montour opened the Public Hearing to consider an application for a <br />HAND GOODS Second Hand Goods Dealers License received from Ron and Julie <br />DEALERS Kaplan to open a consignment store at 2800 Rice Street to be called <br />LICENSE - Second Impressions. The store will sell used, upscale women's <br />2800 RICE clothing. Ron Kaplan reported that the store is currently located in Arden <br />STREET - Hills. They just purchased the store and would like to move it to Little <br />SECOND Canada. The Council reviewed staffls report dated March 9, 2007 <br />IMPRESSIONS indicating that application materials are in older and Sheriff's Department <br /> Background Checks are satisfactory. <br />There was no one present wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Allan, seconded by Keis, the public hearing was closed. <br />Ms. Allan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2007-3-54 -APPROVING THE SECOND HAND <br />GOODS DEALERS LICENSE AS REQUESTED BY RONAND JULIE <br />KAPLAN FOR SECOND IMPRESSIONS, 2800 RICE STREET, FOR <br />THE LICENSE PERIOD MARCH I5, 2007 THROUGH DECEMBER <br />3I, 2007 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />MASSAGE The City Clerk reported that Mr. Dan Stock has made application for a <br />THERAPY - Massage Therapy Accessory Use Business License for The Press Gym <br />2900 RICE at 2900 Rice Sri•eet. Mr. Stock would like to offer massage therapy to <br />STREET - his clients utilizing the gym. Ms. Stacey Voss has made application for <br />THE a Massage Therapist License and would be the massage therapist working <br />PRESS GYM at The Press Gym. The Clerk reported that application materials are in <br /> order, and satisfactory Sheriffs Department Background Checks have <br /> been received on both Stock and Voss. <br />Ms. Allan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2007-3-55 - APPROVING A MASSAGE <br />THERAPYACCESSORYUSE BUSINESS LICENSE FOR MR.
