MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 14, 2007 <br />make any changes to the ordinance if deemed necessary. The City <br />Attorney indicated that the City can establish the moratorium for any time <br />frame up to a maximum of 12 months. );xtensions of the moratorium will <br />require a public hearing. <br />The City Administrator recommended establishing a 12 month <br />moratorium, pointing out that should the City complete its study earlier, it <br />can repeal the moratorium at any time. <br />It was noted that once adopted, the moratorium would go into effect on the <br />date of publication, the earliest being March 20, 2007. <br />Mr•. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO.2007-3-60 - AN INTERIM ORDINANCE <br />ESTABLISHINGA MORATORIUMONOPENAND OUDOOR <br />STORAGE AS A CONDITIONAL USE AND ANACCESSORY USE <br />WITHIN "I-1 "LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS WITHIN THE <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA FOR A TIME PERIOD TO EXTEND <br />THROUGH MARCH 2O, 2008 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />2007 The City Administrator reviewed the City Engineer's report dated <br />IMPROVEMENTS March 9, 2007 requesting approval of plans and specifications as well as <br />authorizing the calling for bids for the 2007 Street Improvements. These <br />improvements include the following: <br />o Rerouting of Viking Drive just east of Rice Street to create <br />a new intersection with Minnesota Avenue; <br />o Reconstruction of Viking Drive from the realigned section <br />to County Road B-2; <br />o Reconstruction of Canabury Drive from County Road B-2 <br />to Demont Avenue; <br />o Construction of Boss Road from Bryan Street to the north. <br />Other improvements that will be included in the bid request are the <br />reconstruction of the old section of the Old Fire Hall Parking lot and storm <br />sewer improvements adjacent to Resources for Child Caring. <br />The City Administrator reported that the next Council agenda will include <br />an action item to call for the assessment hearing for Boss Road. <br />9 <br />
