MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 26, 2007 <br />A11an stated that she opposed the property division, noting that the <br />property was built as a duplex and will continue to look like one. She <br />noted its location in a neighborhood where other rental property exists. <br />Keis pointed out that this particular property is subdividable, where the <br />Ruth Street rental property is not. Keis felt that individual ownership of <br />each of these units may help resolve some of the issues in the Ruth Street <br />neighborhood that result from the rental properties. <br />There was no one else present wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Allan, seconded by Keis, the public hearing was closed. <br />Mr. Keis inhoduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007-3-70 -APPROVING THE PROPERTY <br />DIVISION OF 69/75 DEMONT AVENUE INTO TWO SINGLE- <br />FAMILYPROPERTIES SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER, BUILDING <br />OFFICIAL, AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (3) Keis, McGraw, Blesener. <br />Nays (1) Allan. Resolution declared adopted. <br />VALOR Blesener noted that both the attorney representing Valor Enterprises <br />ENTERPRISES as well as Lori Peterson, Valor Enterprises, have requested that action on <br />the two Conditional Use Permit applications, text amendment requests, <br />and applications for auto sales and auto repair licenses be tabled until the <br />April planning cycle. The City Attorney indicated Lori Peterson and the <br />attorney representing Valor Enterprises have the authority to make this <br />request and have executed the appropriate 60-Day Rule waivers. <br />Mr. McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2007-3-71-TABLING ACTION ON PENDING <br />APPLICATIONS FROM VALOR ENTERPRISES FOR <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS, TEXT AMENDMENT, AND AUTO <br />SALESAND AUTO REPAIR LICENSES UNTIL THE APRIL <br />PLANNING CYCLE AS REQUESTED BY VALOR ENTERPRISES <br />REPRESENTED BY LORI PETERSONAS WELL AS THE <br />ATTORNEY REPRESENING VALOR ENTERPRISES <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (4). <br />
