MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
MAY 1, 2007
There was no one else present from the general public wishing to
comment on this matter.
Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by Allan, the assessment hearing was
closed.
Montour asked how many bids were submitted for the 2007
Improvements. The City Engineer replied that seven bids were received.
T. A. Schifsky was the low bidder. Award of the 2007 Improvement low
bid will occur at the May 9"' Council meeting.
The City Engineer reported that Dick Boss has agreed to grant a small
drainage and utility easement around the cul-de-sac. He also noted that
the property owner to the north, Diane Hanson, has agreed to grant an
easement as well.
The City Clerk noted that the assessment roll will likely not be forwarded t
the County until this fall. The Boss property division will be recorded in
the meantime, creating the second lot. Given this timing issue, the Clerk
recommended that Dick and Jim Boss submit to the City in writing their
agreement for how the assessment should be apportioned between their
two properties. The Boss's agreed.
Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTIONNO. 2007-5-I09 -ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT
ROLL FOR BOSS ROAD, IMPROVEMENT NO. 2007-03, AS
MODIFIED THIS EVENING
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan.
Nays (3).
Nays (0).
