MINUTES <br />Parks & Recreation Commission <br />June 7, 2007 <br />Steinwall recommended that tlae July 5`" Parks & Recreation Commission meeting be <br />changed to July l7"' and that t/:e August meeting be canceller) <br />Motion seconded by Fahey. <br />Motion carried 7 - D. <br />OTHER Reports on the following were also made: <br />BUSINESS <br />The Friends of the Parks & Trails will be holding their annual picnic/meeting on Tuesday, <br />June 19, 2007. Information on this meeting was given to the Commissioners. <br />The Watershed District is interested in participating in National Night Out. They will <br />contact the Ramsey County Sheriff s Deparhnent to inquire about this possibility. <br />Registrations are being held for archery lessons, firearm safety, and summer youth trips. <br />The firearm safety class is very popular and always fills up. Online registration has started <br />for fall soccer, volleyball, and after school basketball. Registrations are also being accepted <br />for fa1155 Alive Driving Classes. This year, the 8-hour class will be held on a Saturday <br />instead of being broken into two nights. <br />ADJOURN 5teinert recommended t{tat the meeting be adjourned. <br />Motion seconded by Davis. <br />Motion carried 7- 0. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Kris Pechman <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />
