MINUTES <br />Parks & Recreation Commission <br />September 6, 2007 <br />Steinwall mentioned that the St. Paul Walking Club will be coming the first Sunday or <br />Tuesday next month to walk all of Little Canada's trails. This group consists of 40 people <br />that meet weekly. Steinwall stated that she would ]et the Director know of the exact day. <br />Steinwall commented that the geese are getting out of control. The Director stated that <br />there's not too much that can be done about that this time of year. Every spring, the city <br />pays to have the nesting goose population reduced in different areas of the city. However, <br />not much can be done about the migratory geese that come through this time of year. <br />The Director distributed the recent activities flyer which contains information on basketball <br />league and fall gymnastics. <br />ADJOURN Neis reco»:merzded that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Motion seco~zded Gy Davis. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Page 4 of 4 <br />
