The following table compares the current permit and the proposed changes:
The permit was granted with an allowance for up to 25% of the vendors selling craft or
art items — no change is proposed to these kinds of operational aspects of the market.
Summary and Recommendation
Planning staff recommends approval of the amendment to the Farmer's Market PUD
Permit as proposed. The changes will have no negative impacts on the Saxon property
(lessening the usage on that site), and should fit in with the use of the Hardware Hank
site, adding Monday farmers market use to the private market on other days.
As such, the permit may be amended retaining the other conditions of approval.
pc: Kathy Glanzer
Steve Westerhaus
Lee Elfering
Jim Morelan/Katie McGinnity
Current
Proposed
Season
June 1 — October 31
No change
Operating Hours
4 hours, morning or afternoon
No change in hours —
Monday of each week
Location
North Lot or South Lot of Saxon
Lanes, per plan
Hardware Hank, when available;
Saxon on other dates
The permit was granted with an allowance for up to 25% of the vendors selling craft or
art items — no change is proposed to these kinds of operational aspects of the market.
Summary and Recommendation
Planning staff recommends approval of the amendment to the Farmer's Market PUD
Permit as proposed.
