MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />OCTOBER 11, 2007 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the I lth day of <br />October, 2007 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair Dan Knudsen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m, and the <br />following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />ABSENT: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Jon Hall <br />Mr. Jeff Helmeke <br />Mr. Chuck Pechmann <br />Ms. Kate Socha (left at 8:35 p.m.) <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Ms. Vanessa Van Alstine, Cable TV <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />MINUTES The September 13, 2007 Planning Commission meeting minutes were <br />approved as submitted. <br />VARIANCES - Chris Groholski, Precision Tree, appeared before the Commission <br />50 SOUTH relative to applications for Variances for accessory building size, building <br />OWASSO materials, and outdoor storage for Precision Tree at 50 South Owasso Blvd. <br />BLVD. - Groholski reported that Precision Tree would like to add building space at <br />PRECISION their site, either through construction of an accessory building or an <br />TREE addition onto their existing building. In doing so, Precision Tree would like <br /> to retain the 3,750 square feet of outdoor storage space they currently have <br /> by CUP. Groholski noted that the current outdoor storage area is adjacent <br /> to the existing building in the location that an addition would go. <br />Groholski described two diagrams, the first showed a possible addition to <br />the existing building and the second an accessory building. Groholski <br />reported that they need a space of 80 feet deep by 60 feet wide in order to <br />store their low boy and walk-in trailer. Groholski pointed out that diagram <br />showing the building addition is not drawn to scale and would actually have <br />to be 30 feet deeper than shown. Groholski described how access would be <br />achieved to the additional building space under either scenario. She also <br />
