Stanke reported that his renter
DRIVE - would have 6 to 8 vehicles stored inside for retail sales. Stanke indicated
STANKE that the Fire Marshal has inspected the building and noted that it is
sprinkled. There will be no outdoor storage related to this business.
Knudsen asked if sales would be made by appointment, or the business
would be open to the public. Stanke reported that sales would be by
appointment only. There will not be a lot of retail traffic to the site.
Knudsen asked if there would be repairs of vehicles. Stanke noted that the
CUP is for the middle rental space (Section B) of his building and there
would be no auto repair done in that space. Socha asked about outdoor
display of vehicles. The City Planner indicated that no outdoor display or
outdoor storage would be allowed. Hall asked how access would be
achieved in and out of the building. Stanke noted that there is an overhead
door on this space. Duray asked about office space. Stanke reported that
there is a small amount of office space in Section B. The tenant is not sure
whether or not he needs office space at this point.
Knudsen asked if there was a limit on the number of indoor auto sales
licenses. The City Planner reported that there is a limit on outdoor retail
auto sales licenses, but not on indoor sales.
Duray asked the square footage of Section B. Stanke estimated it to be
1,700 to 1,800 square feet.
There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on
this matter.
-4-
