MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />DECEMBER 13, 2007 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of <br />December, 2007 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Vice Chair Tom Duray called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Jon Hall <br />Mr. Jeff Helmeke <br />Mr. Chuck Pechmann <br />Ms. Kate Socha <br />ABSENT: Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Ms. Vanessa Van Alstine, Cable TV <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />MINUTES The November 8, 2007 Planning Commission meeting minutes were <br />approved as submitted. <br />TEXT Dan Stock, The Press Gym, appeared before the Commission <br />AMENDMENT requesting approval of a Text Amendment to the "toning Code allowing <br />& PUD PERMIT - tattoo parlors by PUD Permit in the Planned Unit Development <br />2900 RICE District as well as a PUD Permit to locate a tattoo parlor within his <br />STREET - gym facility at 2900 Rice Street. Stock reported that he has a 400 <br />TATTOO square foot space in the front of his facility that he would like to lease <br />PARLOR to Brandon Heffron for a tattoo parlor. Stock reported that there is a <br /> separate outside enhance for this space as well as an entrance directly into <br /> the gymnasium facility. The tattoo parlor would share restroom facilities <br /> with the gymnasium. Stock reported that they have reviewed the City <br /> Planner's report and can comply with all recommendations. Stock reported <br /> that The Press Gym hours are 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The tattoo parlor <br /> hours would be from 12 Noon until 8:00 p.m. Mr. Heffron is agreeable to <br /> limiting the business to two clients at a time, therefore, parking will not be <br /> an issue. <br />
