MINUTES CITY COUNCIL APRIL 23, 2008 Administrator reported that he followed up with Paul Abdo on both Friday and Monday relative to the status of the revised timeline, but it has not yet been submitted. The City Attorney indicated that the City has a rational basis for not granting exclusive developer status based on the fact that the revised timeline has not been submitted. The City Administrator indicated that he did not want to disparage Abdo Markethouse and felt that they were well equipped to put together a development for the City's property. However, at this point he did not feel it was to the City's advantage to provide exclusive development rights to one developer given the City does not have an acceptable development proposal nor a development timeline. Without objection, the Council instructed the City Administrator to inform Abdo Marketplace of the City's decision to market the property and accept development proposals as they might be submitted without granting exclusive rights to any one developer at this point. CONCEPT The City Planner indicated that a property owners has asked the Council's DEVELOPMENT for their position on the subdivision of property over which there is a Magellen Pipeline easement. The Planner noted that the newly developed lot would not be able to meet the City's pipeline setback requirements. The City Attorney indicated that it is out-of--order for the Council to render a concept opinion of this nature without knowing all relevant facts. ADJOURN Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONNO. 2008-4-116 -ADJOURNING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (5). Nays (0).
