considerations for water needs. There is therefore no need by the resi-
dents for additional water. It would in fact be redundant, inappropriate,
a needless expenditure of public and private funds, and not in the best
interest of sound financial management, nor would this serve the public
interest.
Dianna Lane is a cul-de-sac street and ends at Lake Gervais and
thus serves no parties other than the residents on the street. The existence
of a non -utilized water source subject to deterioration over time with
resultant maintenance cost is not a sound plan. The properties already
constructed number nine (9) with a total of sixteen (16) lots available.
Since a plan for water service was not initiated by the city
prior to the construction of the existing hard surface road, Dianna Lane,
yet all other utilities were planned and placed underground, it seems that
its untimely placement now would constitute needless additional costs as
Mw described, and certainly constitutes an unfair financial burden for those
residents who were obligated to provide at their expense for adequate water
41w2 i
supply in this newly developed area.
We therefore ask that this proposed improvement be disapproved.
. lAl'eAL
kZ ( The undersigned petitioners are legal property owne
Lane.
M
s of Dianna 0
LJ 14
6 — A /y w M- Sous . F,l•J i
