MINUTES OF TfIE REGULAR MEETING <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> June 11, 1980 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the <br /> Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the <br /> 11th day of June, 1980 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br /> located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> The Mayor, Mr. Raymond Hanson, chaired and called the meeting to <br /> order at 7:34 P.M. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br /> Councilman Mr. Michael Fahey <br /> Councilman Mr. Roy Nadeau, Jr. <br /> Councilwoman Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br /> MEMBERS ABSENT: Councilman Per. Robert DeBace <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Clerk Mr. Joseph Chlebeck <br /> City Attorney Mr. Clayton Parks <br /> Consulting Engineer Mr. Donald Carley <br /> Recording Secretary Mrs. Kathleen Glanzer <br /> City Planner Mr. Brad Nielson <br /> The City Clerk announced that there was a quorum of the Council present. <br /> <br /> Approval Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> Of The <br /> <br /> Minutes RESOLUTION N0. 80-6-197 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br /> MAY 7, 1980 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING, THE MINUTES OF THE <br /> MAY 14, 1980 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING, AND THE MINUTES <br /> OF THE MAY 28, 1980 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> Ayes (4) Fahey, Scalze, Hanson, Nadeau. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 127. <br /> Jackson The Mayor reported that the next item on the agenda was the hearing <br /> Street regarding the improvement of Jackson Street from LaBore Road to the <br /> Improvement end by sanitary sewer, watermain and street improvement. The Mayor <br /> Hearing read the notice that was sent to the property owners of the area. <br /> The Engineer stated that there are only three property owners in the <br /> area that would be affected by the improvement. Mr. Ca r1ey informed <br /> ..the Council that the cost of the improvement would be $78.00 per <br /> front foot. <br /> The following property owners in the area stated that they were opposed <br /> to the improvement: Mr. Klossner of 2902 Jackson Street, Mr. Joseph <br /> Fasciana of 2884 Jackson Street, Mr. Art Haukland of 2876 Jackson <br /> Street, and Mrs. Bev Underwood of 2875 Jackson Street. <br /> Page -1- <br /> <br />
