MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />FEBRUARY 12, 2025 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was convened on the 12th day of February 2025 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of the City <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members Malone, Kwapick, Gutierrez and Miller. <br />Absent: None. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Chris Heineman, Community Relations Manager Laura <br />Linehan, Parks and Recreation Director Steve Anderson, Public Works Director Bill Dircks and City <br />Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-2-21 — APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE JANUARY22, <br />2025 REGULAR MEETINGS AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gutierrez. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0).- Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />The Community Relations Manager stated that thevtrash and recycling cart exchange will take place <br />the week of March 3rd through the 7th. She stated that a postcard will be mailed to residents with that <br />information and is also available on the city website. She stated that registration is open for the 5k Sap <br />Run, noting the early bird discount that runs through February 28th. She stated that 14 red hearts have <br />been placed throughout Little Canada parks and city buildings through the end of the month, and <br />residents are encouraged to find as many hearts as they can. She stated that residents can also stop in <br />City Hall to obtain an I Love Little Canada bracelet. <br />Malone noted that the Little Canada Fire Department still has booyah available from their sale this past <br />weekend. <br />The City Administrator stated that the planning and engagement dates have been set for the Little <br />Canada Road and Country Drive project, providing a highlight of those dates. He noted that all <br />information will be sent directly to business owners and available online. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None. <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />
