MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA MARCH 26, 2025 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 26th day of March 2025 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members Kwapick, Gutierrez and Miller. Absent: Malone. ALSO PRESENT: Acting City Administrator Laura Linehan, Parks and Recreation Director Steve Anderson, Public Works Director Bill Dircks, and City Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONNO. 2025-3-43 APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE MARCH 25, 2025 WORKSHOP AND THE MARCH 251 2 02 5 REGULAR MEETINGS AS SUBMITTED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gutierrez. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ANNOUNCEMENTS The Acting City Administrator reminded residents that registration for the 5K Sap Run is open. PRESENTATIONS MAYOR FOR THE DAY ESSAY CONTEST: LITTLE CANADA RESIDENT KENZIE YANG RECOGNITION Mayor Fischer recognized Little Canada resident Kenzie Yang, who placed highly for the City of Little Canada in the League of Minnesota Cities Mayor for the Day Essay Contest. He noted her suggestions related to street lighting and signage for pedestrian safety, as well as the safety of playground equipment. He presented Ms. Yang with a plaque of recognition. CONSENT AGENDA Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL UTION NO. 2025-3-44 — APPROVING THE CONSENT A GENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING.
