MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MARCH 26, 2025 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was convened on the 26th day of March 2025 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. and the following members of the City <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members Kwapick, Gutierrez and Miller. <br />Absent: Malone. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Acting City Administrator Laura Linehan, Parks and Recreation Director Steve <br />Anderson, Public Works Director Bill Dircks, and City Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2025-3-43 APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE MARCH 25, 2025 <br />WORKSHOP AND THE MARCH 251 2 02 5 REGULAR MEETINGS AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gutierrez. <br />Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />The Acting City Administrator reminded residents that registration for the 5K Sap Run is open. There <br />is still time to submit artwork to be featured this summer in Art in the Park. <br />Ili : � C�lil�]1%'i1% � �1►M <br />None. <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />MAYOR FOR THE DAY ESSAY CONTEST: LITTLE CANADA RESIDENT KENZIE YANG <br />RECOGNITION <br />Mayor Fischer recognized Little Canada resident Kenzie Yang, who placed highly for the City of Little <br />Canada in the League of Minnesota Cities Mayor for the Day Essay Contest. He noted her suggestions <br />related to street lighting and signage for pedestrian safety, as well as the safety of playground <br />equipment. He presented Ms. Yang with a plaque of recognition. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2025-3-44 — APPROVING THE CONSENT A GENDA WHICH <br />CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING. <br />
