MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MIN <br />JANUARY 26, 1994 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop <br />meeting of the Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 26th day of January, 1994 in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Raymond Hanson chaired and called the meeting to <br />order at 6:35 P.M. and the following members of the <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan <br />Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Council Member Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Admin. Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Public Works Mr. Dave I-Iarris <br />Parks & Rec. Mr. Jim Morelan <br />Parks & Rec. Mr. Ken Wehrle <br />Fire Chief Mr. Dick Boss <br />Planning Comm. Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />Cable TV Coor. Mr. Tony Vignetti <br />Admin. Assistant Mrs. Kathy Glanzer <br />CAPITAL Hanson reported that the purpose of tonight's meeting <br />IMPROVII~ff.+[~T is a continuation of the capital improvement workshop <br />BUDGET which was begun on Wednesday, January 12th. Hanson <br />pointed out that Council Member Scalze is not able to <br />be here this evening due to the death of her <br />father-in-law. The Mayor expressed his sympathy to <br />Scalze and her family on behalf of the Council and City <br />staff. <br />The Public Works Superintendent began a review of the <br />Public Works and Parks Maintenance Capital Improvement <br />Listing. The first item on that listing is replacement <br />of the City's 14-year-old Cushman truckster. Estimated <br />cost is $15,000. The Superintendent recommended that <br />when looking at replacements, other brands in addition <br />to Cushman will be considered. The Cushman model is <br />typically more expensive than others, and the City's <br />Page 1 <br />
