Asst.
Mr. Raymond Hanson
Mr. Jim LaValle
Mr. Steve Morelan
Mr. Bob Pedersen
Mrs. Beverly Scalze
Mr. Joel Hanson
Mrs. Kathy Glanzer
COMMUNITY The purpose of tonight's workshop meeting is to
SURVEY discuss the community survey process.
LaValle indicated that the City needs to give a lot of
thought to a business component of a community survey,
pointing out that the City must be prepared to address
any areas of concern which are identified.
The Administrator agreed, and stated that the City must
make sure that the questions asked are in areas where
the City can impact results.
Scalze felt that if businesses send the City a real
clear message that taxes should not be raised, then the
City should make holding the line on taxes a number one
goal.
LaValle agreed, but indicated that he would not want to
see services or programs cut.
Morelan asked about the use of committees to identify
issues and topic questions to be addressed by the
survey.
1
