MINUT~S OL+' T~i~IE REGULAR M~ETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 24, 1998 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meetin~ of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 24°i day of June, <br />1998 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little <br />Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and the <br />following members of the City Co~mcil were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Michael L Fahey <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Steve Morelan <br />Council Member Mr. Bob Pedersen (arr. 7:35) <br />Council Member Mrs . Beverly Scalze <br />ALSO PR~SENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />City Attorney Mr. Thomas Sweeney <br />City Plan~ler Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Code Enforcement Ms. Tlizabeth Mursl<o <br />Cable TV Producer Mr. Greg Schroeder <br />Deputy Clerl< Mrs. I<athy Glanzer <br />MINUTES Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOT, UTTON N0. 98-6-T A6 -APPROVING 7FIE MINUTES OF <br />THE JUNE I0, 1998 REGUI,AR COUNCII. MEETING AND THE <br />JUNE I0, I998 CLOSED COUNCII, MEETING AS SUI3MITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Ma~elan, Scalze, F~tihey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution dec(ared adopted. <br />D~BT LLVY Mayor Fahey invited property owners interest in serving on the City's <br />REDUCT:[ON Debt Levy Reduction Committee to contlct the City Center by July <br />COMMITTE~ 17'~'. Fahey pointed out thlt in the year 2000 the City's debt levy will drop <br />by a substantial amoui~t, and iu the year 2003, the debt levy is eliminated. <br />The Committee will be making a recommendation to the Council for the <br />allocation of these resources in }~lannin~ for tl~e future. <br />
