MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />APRIL S, 2026 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota, was convened on the 8th day of April 2026 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m., and the following members of the City <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members Malone, Kwapick, and Miller. <br />Absent: None. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryce Shearen, Assistant City Administrator Laura Linehan, <br />Public Works Director Bill Dircks, Utility Billing/Administrative Support Specialist Evan Glunz, City <br />Engineer Eric Seaburg, City Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller, and Finance Director Carl Jacobson <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Kwapick introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2026-4-47 — APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE MARCH 25, 2026 <br />WORKSHOP AND THE MARCH 25, 2026 REGULAR MEETINGS AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Miller. <br />Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />The Assistant City Administrator noted the April Community Connection Series, scheduled for April <br />23rd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., which is a business community meet -up and networking opportunity. The <br />city is hosting several events during National Volunteer Week; more information can be found on the <br />city website. <br />FAIR HOUSING MONTH PROCLAMATION <br />Mayor Fischer read the Fair Housing Month Proclamation. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Kwapick introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2026-4-48 — APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA WHICH <br />CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING. <br />• Approval of the Vouchers <br />• Authorize Hiring of Temporary Seasonal Employees for 2026 <br />• Approve Contract with RES Pro for Fireworks at 2026 Canadian Days <br />• Approve Change Order for Tree Clearing Work <br />
