CITY COUNCIL Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota, was convened on the 27t" day of May 2026 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m., and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members Malone, Kwapick, Miller, and Schwalbach. Absent: None. ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryce Shearen, Assistant City Administrator Laura Linehan, Community Development Director Ben Harrington, Public Works Director Bill Dircks, City Engineer Eric Seaburg, City Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller, and Finance Director Carl Jacobson. LEJ;JEMQW0JMJ*1=10• APPOINT NICK SCHWALBACH TO FILL CITY COUNCIL VACANCY The City Administrator provided a brief recap of the process that was followed to fill the vacancy that was created when a previous member of the Council resigned. He noted that of those 11 residents who submitted an application, Nick Schwalbach was chosen to fill the remainder of the term. Malone introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: COUNCIL VACANCY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Kwapick. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. OATH OF OFFICE FOR NEW COUNCIL MEMBER NICK SCHWALBACH The City Clerk administered the Oath of Office to new Council Member Nick Schwalbach. Schwalbach joined the Council at the dais. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO.2026-5-66 — APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE MAY 13, 2026, WORKSHOP, THE MAY 13, 2026 REGULAR MEETING, AND MAY 20, 2026 WORKSHOP AS SUBMITTED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Malone. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
