MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota, was convened on the 10t" day of June, 2026, in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m., and the following members of the <br />City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members Malone, Kwapick, Schwalbach, and Miller. <br />Absent: None. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryce Shearen, Assistant City Administrator Laura Linehan, <br />Community Development Director Ben Harrington, City Engineer Eric Seaburg, City Clerk/HR <br />Manager Heidi Heller, Fire Chief Don Smiley, and Finance Director Carl Jacobson. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />� .. <br />I FA a • ► - �. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Schwalbach. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />The Assistant City Administrator reminded residents of the Touch a Truck event in the Little <br />Canada Elementary School parking lot on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be a Little <br />Canada Road construction project information session on Monday, June 22"d, at City Hall from 5 <br />to 7 p.m. There will also be a virtual information session for the project on Wednesday, June 241", <br />from noon to 1 p.m. More information can be found on the city's project website, where you can <br />also sign up for alerts. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None. <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />LITTLE CANADA LIFE SAVING AWARD AND LITTLE CANADA RECOGNITION OF RESPONSE <br />FROM RAMSEY COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE DEPUTIES <br />Mayor Fischer provided information on the incident that occurred on May 16t" and presented <br />three awards: two Little Canada Lifesaving Awards and one Little Canada Recognition of <br />Response Award. <br />The Fire Chief stated that he could not be prouder of Brad's actions and expressed gratitude. <br />
