MINUTES <br />DONATION <br />TO VETERANS <br />MEMORIAL - <br />LITTLE <br />CANADA <br />FIRE DEPT. <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JANUARY 6, 2014 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 6th day of <br />January, 2014 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator <br />Cable TV Producer <br />City Clerk <br />Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Ms. Shelly Boss <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Mike McGraw <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />Mr. Kevin Helander <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014 -1 -1— APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br />THE DECEMBER 18, 2013 WORKSHOP COUNCIL MEETING AND <br />THE DECEMBER 18, 2013 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS <br />SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />Rocky Waite, Chair of the Veterans Memorial Committee, appeared <br />before the Council to report on the planning progress for the Veterans <br />Memorial. Waite indicated that the planning is going very well and that <br />fundraising is now at the half -way mark. Waite indicated that the <br />Committee's plan is that construction of the Memorial would begin in <br />the Spring with the dedication ceremony to occur on Veterans' Day. <br />Waite noted that the sale of pavers is going well and encouraged people to <br />purchase paver bricks in honor of veterans. <br />
