CITY CENTER <br />REMODEL <br />WORK SCOPE <br />MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEMBER 10, 2014 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 10th day of <br />September, 2014 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />ABSENT: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Ms. Shelly Boss <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Council Member Mr. Michael McGraw <br />City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Mr. Dick Naughton <br />City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />The City Administrator reported that the purpose of this evening's <br />workshop is to review the City Center remodel work scope and the <br />estimates for the improvements noted. The Administrator indicated that <br />the total of the work listed in the document prepared by the Construction <br />Manager is $410,000. A place holder of $150,000 for the remodel work <br />has been included in the budget plus another $35,000 for replacement of <br />air conditioner units. The Administrator noted that updates to the cable <br />system and some of the Council Chamber improvements would come <br />from the Cable TV Budget. The Administrator also noted that City staff <br />has reviewed the work scope and he will relay staff continents as part of <br />this review. <br />The Administrator began a review of the project scope elements. The first <br />area was for Mechanical improvements with a preliminary cost estimate of <br />$146,000. It was noted that the majority of this work related to <br />replacement of seven new gas furnaces, air cooled condensing units and <br />DX piping. The City Administrator reported that three of the furnaces and <br />AC units were original to the 1991 building addition. Another was <br />
